My Top 10 Inglot Must Haves!

Is everyone else as excited as I am about the new Inglot Store Opening in City Square Waterford on October 29th 11am???!!! On the day there will be 10% off and goody bags for a limited amount of people…so get there early. I can already see my bank balance suffering!!! Jane Swarbrigg announced the fantastic news on Saturday last and I can honestly say I’ve never seen City Square busier. Jane is one of my favourite Snapchatters (janeinglot) and it was so nice to see her in person. She was one of the first people to read my first blog post, before I even launched “Beauty and the Masseuse” and encouraged me to go for it and gave me great advice. A fantastic business women and an absolute must follow!!! The store will be located just up from River Island, where Shake Shack used to be and I’m beyond excited. It’s going to be amazing for Waterford and all of its Inglot Addicts.

In tonight’s post, I am going to tell you my Top 10 Inglot Must Haves. It’s for anyone who is unsure of what to get and looking for some guidance or for anyone who might feel overwhelmed going into a makeup store! For anyone who has never used Inglot before this will help you in choosing your first Inglot product. You could use this as your wishlist and you will not go wrong. Believe me when I say YOU WILL WANT IT ALL but I’m just going to list my Top 10, or else this will be the longest post in the history of posts! Inglot is one of the best brands I’ve ever used on my myself and my clients, there’s something for everyone, any age! It’s affordable and the quality is second to none.

1. HD Perfect Cover Up Foundation €33

I have been using and loving this foundation with for ages. For me it lasts much better than the Estee Lauder Double wear but WITHOUT the flashback! It has a matte finish and is more suited to oily combination skin types but if you have dry skin, like me, just mix it with an Illuminating Primer and it’s perfect. Flawless, long wearing and photographs beautifully. It’s my foundation of choice for my clients. Shade 73 suits most Irish skin types and shade 76 suits most who have a tan. I’d always recommend you get colour matched in store though.

2. Freedom System Flexi Palette €22

I love Inglot’s Freedom System because it means you can design your own palette with your favourites. It also makes it so easy for makeup artists when working freelance and perfect for holidays. The Flexi Palette is magnetic and holds eye shadows, sculpting powders and blushes.

3. Eye Shadows €6

I had to get the Limited Edition Love Palette when it launched last year, and I adore all the eye shadows. You can buy separately for only €6, which is fantastic value considering the colour payoff is phenomenal. They have so many  shades to choose from and I find them really easy to work with. Blend like a dream! Next on my list is the new “What a Spice” Collection eye shadows.

4. HD Sculpting Contour Powders €10

Their Sculpting Powders should be in every makeup artists or makeup lovers kit. They have one for every skin tone and they photograph really well! Once you start using these, you simply will not want to use anything else. Shade “504” is the perfect shade to enhance and sculpt your face. When it comes to highlight and contour remember that light shades attract light and dark shades don’t. So place the lighter shades where you wan’t the light to hit, top of cheekbones, cupids bow, down centre of nose and middle of forehead. Place the darker shades around hairline, temples, under cheekbones and under jawline. This will give your face a more structured look with your best features enhanced.

5. Duraline €12

Duraline is one of their best sellers and an absolute must have. It has so many uses! You can add a drop to your eyeliner or brow gel to make them easier to work with and give a sleeker line. Can be used as a base for pigments, highlighters, inner corner highlight. Another use is cleaning the edges of winged liner. Makes life so much easier!

6. AMC Eyeliner Gel €15

Every makeup artist, youtuber and beauty guru in the whole universe swears by Inglot’s Eyeliner Gel in Shade “77”, which is jet black. Makes application so much easier and glides on effortlessly. It’s staying power is second to none and it will not budge for the day and night.

7. Sparkling Dusts €20

I adore these, possibly the best highlighter ever!!! They are frosted loose powders and can be applied anywhere on the body to give a serious glow. If you want to be seen from space, these little beauties are for you. They can be applied directly on the eyes, mixed with nail polish or lip gloss to give that extra special touch to your makeup. When I attended the Inglot Roadshow in Waterford, the pro team were a wealth of information and I asked soooo many questions. One of them was, which Sparkling Dust suits most skin types and the answer was Shade “02”. It is stunning applied to the cheekbones.

8. Body Sparkles €15

Shade 54 is the most popular and the one that is nearly always sold out. I attended Blathnaid Murphy’s masterclasss, in Waterford awhile back, and she said it was one of her favourites. Like the Sparkling dusts they can be applied anywhere on the body. If you apply duraline to your eyes 1st then pack on the body sparkles on top, it will make them adhere better to the skin.

9. Lip Liner FM 854 €15

This is probably their most perfect shade lip liner that will go with every look. Lip Liner FM 854 is so popular among the Pro Team and at the roadshow I attended it was the favourite of a lot of them. With lip liner, you can apply all over lips for use on its own or to outline the lips and help your lipstick last longer.

10. Brushes

These brushes listed below, in my opinion, are absolute must haves from Inglot. They pick up the product so well and make blending so much easier.

6SS €20

This is a large fluffy blending brush. I find it too big for around the eye but it has so many uses. With this you can apply and buff out cream contour, powder contour and it’s amazing for applying highlighter to the cheekbones and cupid’s bow.

4SS – €22

This is a smaller version of the 6ss, which makes it the perfect fluffy blending brush  for the crease and under eye area. Great for blending away any harsh lines, and achieving that beautiful smokey eye that Inglot is known for. You will step up your blending game dramatically by getting this little gem!

10S €18

This is a smaller blending brush for more precise detailing on the eye area.Use darker colours with this brush to bring intensity and drama to your look.

31T €14

If you are nervous when it comes to eyeliner, this could be the brush you’ve been waiting for. This brush paired with the AMC Eye Liner Gel is literally the only duo you’re ever going to need. It’s a very thin angled brush, which will make your lines precise, sharp and sleek. If I were you I’d get 2, one for eye liner and one for brow products.

So there you have it my top 10 favourites from Inglot. I have to admit it was hard to whittle it down to only 1o, as I have never came across something I didn’t like from this brand. The demand for Inglot Stores everywhere is so high and this is a testament to the work Jane Swarbrigg, and her team of super talented makeup artists has put in. The brand is on the rise and I don’t see it slowing down any time soon. What are your Inglot favourites??? What would you have included??? Let me know through any of the ways below.

I am delighted that local makeup artist Niamh Cleary will be joining the Inglot Team in Waterford. I have been following her on Snapchat and my God she does fantastic, easy to follow tutorials. Her eye looks are seriously to die for and she will definitely be top of my list when booking in for a makeup at Inglot. Her Snapchat name is “ncmakeup” and you can find her on Instagram here => ncmakeup_. Niamh will be featured in the next edition of “MUA Focus” – a series I’m running on the blog that focuses on some of my favourite MUA’s, so make sure and keep an eye out.
